I just recently bought new N9 and now my older one is going to be my new "stay-at-home" phone. Because of this, I will need to install Wazapp on my new phone.
What I am wondering, however, is that isn't my wazapp account tied to my IMEI or something?
I am worried, that as I now register with my new phone, this will cause errors or failed logins for my old phone if I use wazapp on that as well.
I would really like to keep me the option to change my sim-card from phone to phone and still have and working wazzap account all the time. But is this possible?
Why don't you try and let us all know the outcome.
if something goes wrong then community member will help you
So go ahead and try new things and don't just wait for other to do thing for you
I'm trying to activate whatsapp with your page because wazapp activation don't work neither bluestacks, but no luck. i guess i have to wait until tomorrow
Try sending an email to whatsapp directly. Sometimes if u tried too often it happens that the number get stucked/blocked.
They usually reply within 24 hours.

Look at my message from 12-03-2012 , 12:31 PM; I have the same problem; I own two N9's, and every time I interchange them and insert my simcard I have to reregister. That said, the reregistered Wazapp is 'emty', no contacts, no messages anymore. Nobody in this forum apparently is able to give an advise...
whatsapp using phone number for login. if you have two N9 with 2 different sim cards you will have 2 different wazapp accounts with 2 different contact lists.
you cant use same account on both phones with any easy hack.

hmm...and what would be the difficult hack? Furthermore, the logging phonenumber does not change. I.e. when inserting the one simcard I have into the other phone, my phonenumber does not change. Am I missing something...

You have to reregister, because your password changes, it's bound to your device.
Your contacts and conversations are stored in /home/user/.wazapp/###IMSI###.db, so you just need to move your database from one device to the other, when you change your SIM-card. DB-name should be the same, because IMSI is bound to your SIM.
