You can use any official client on any phone to register. Just do it in offline mode and inpit your number in the n900 for registration. Even though on a different phone, you'll receive the 3 digit code on your n900. Just input it manually. I actually don't know if you can input manually on yappari.

I do not think this could work for Yappari. Since WhatsApp uses the IMEI to generate the password, using another phone will result in generating a different password than the one Yappari would normally use. Nevertheless, this might work for the java port, since you can enter the IMEI manually.

Correct me if I am wrong.
I registered wazapp in such a way, no issues. AFAIK, imei is not sent until you fully go through with the process.
Scorpius, I did all of your last method but I still have problem that "too many registration attemps"..
I need more information. Do you mean that you installed NITDroid, registered with the official Whatsapp client your real N900 phone number, and then went to Yappari, added "android=true" to the config file and you still get too many attempts?
Double check that your yappari.conf file has the line "android=true" in it.
i am a new user of Yappari and not even have account on WhatsApp. when i am putting my mobilr number it takes 2,3 seconds for registration and then show error "too many registration attempts. Please try later". please guide how can i register and use?
