Dear Scorpius,

is there any way to make the n900 led blink when we got a message from yappari? as i suppose, it is a matter of adding him to the group of IM apps so that the phone blinks when a Yappari IM is received. i think so because the app uses the ringtone of the normal IM in the phone.

You must have it disabled in your phone (since everybody else receives LED notifications).

Enable it in your N900 in Settings -> LED Notifications -> Other Notifications (or something like that)

why has it been mapped to the e-mail led pattern? Wouldn't SMS or IM suite better for this type of notification or even common notification?

i started yappari but after the phone number the message was "The verification SMS was never received."

You can change it in /etc/hildon-desktop/notifications-groups.conf (you need to reboot after that)...

Under [yappari-message] change the pattern to:

LED-Pattern=PatternCommunicationIM

this is my error and someone tell me that starting yappary anyway it works..but i see this message.

ps: in X_terminal i'll root to create the .conf file and edit with "android=true" in user way it tells me "permission denied".

Yappari is not dead. In fact it actually got resurrected during the last couple of days.

Mine is working fine, online right now. Do you use the latest version available?
