On-device Stage 1.
#Make partitions backups.

/bin/dd if=/dev/mmcblk0p2 of=/home/user/MyDocs/rootfs_backup.img

#will create 4GB rootfs backup image. No progress will be showed. Wait for procedure ends.
/bin/dd if=/dev/mmcblk0p3 of=/home/user/MyDocs/userfs_backup.img
#will create 2GB userfs backup image No progress will be showed. Wait for procedure ends.
#Copy backuped images to PC.

On-PC Stage 1:

#Flash stock firmware
sudo flasher -F name_of_your_DFL61_HARMATTAN_ape_bin_firmware_imag e -f -R

On-device Stage 2.
#install only developer-mode, don't set up any more
disclaimer-cal remove View-openmode

On-PC Stage 2.
#flash preferred kernel
sudo flasher -a name_of_your_DFL61_HARMATTAN_ape_bin_firmware_imag e -k zImage --flash-only=kernel --suppress-warranty-warning -f
#Don't turn on device. Load rescue initrd using flasher. Download images and read up to #6 in "Device installation"
#http://wiki.meego.com/N950/Fixing_MALF_state
#When find device partitions, mount rootfs (4GB) and userfs(2GB).
#Restore backuped images to device.
sudo dd if=/path_to_rootfs_image_on_pc of=/dev/sdX2
#make sure about sdX2 letter. check it twice. No progress will be showed. Wait for procedure ends.
sudo dd if=/path_to_userfs_image_on_pc of=/dev/sdX3
#make sure about sdX3 letter. check it twice. No progress will be showed. Wait for procedure ends.

#Unplug cable. Boot device. No ScaryWarrantyVoid Message, and all data saved.

Only thing that you forget to mention on your post is that after those steps you are in Open Mode, which means no access to CAL -> devicelock doesn't work. Maybe rename the topic from "Linux Users Only" to "OpenMode users only".

Em, so? ScaryWarrantyVoid message have only openmode users. They know why they here and for what purposes they did that

coderus is it possible to simply re-flash the kernel with the suppress message instead of the whole procedure if we are already in open mode

No. CAL already locked, you can't disable disclaimer when openmode.
