This is worked around in the in linker, all binaries in the CSSU Thumb repository are compiled using Linaro gcc 4.7.2 and binutils 2.22.

Information on how to setup the CSSU-thumb toolchain (gcc4.7.2-linaro) in scratchbox is linked below

And do i only have CSSU-thumb repo active or CSSU-testing repo too?

Nope, that's for developers wishing to compile using -thumb.

Thumb is based on testing. By default, the testing repo remains active with thumb active so I would suggest you don't tinker with them if you are unsure of things...

I have a new phone on which i have not yet installed CSSU yet. It has I believe it has missing packages and some applications don't run completely well. I'm not sure why , but the phone was preowned before I got it.
I tried apt-get -f install in the xterminal but all i get is an error.

I was wondering will CSSU fix any package or dependency issues I have?

I am assuming you refer above to the installation on the phone when you got it. Do yourself a favour - do a complete reflash and start afresh. Really.

Strange that you missed those updates earlier, as they date to ca. April. Should be ok as long as it is an update and not dist-upgrade as that can lead to issues.

And the wifi issue might just have something to do with osso-wlan?????
