Sure my country is odd and our people have a penchant for stupid crap...same as every other country..
but...
Boy the States are a weird mess....
And I thought Trump was an idiot..
"If everyone contributes a small amount of their income, we can pool all the resources together to defeat socialism..." Dr. Rand Paul
Wonderful. Why not introduce an anti-socialism tax. That way, everyone will work according to their abilities and contribute according to their income. Oh wait...
New Canadian provider (well they are almost a year old or so ..now...) are getting alot of press here... https://www.sugarmobile.ca/
they are an upstart ...
unlike windmobile that tried to take on the big boys here toe-to-toe...
((and subsequently failed...(they just couldn't make headway in the uphill fight against the established giants...) windmobile just (literally) got snarfed up by Shaw ...a cable and internet giant here in Canada..and now Shaw intends to go up against Bell, Rogers, etc...and I think Shaw can do it ...))
these sugar mobile guys are trying to sneak in through the back door...
Here in the sunny UK every major supermarket chain is also a bank, an insurance company and a mobile ("cell" for our NA friends) provider. Does it not work like that in NA?
at pichlo...
Here...
No thankfully ...there is so far some regulation here in Canada...
You go to the grocery store and sure there may be phones or sim cards available...but they tend to be available through a kiosk with an associate from the actual service provider...
some stores may offer a version of their own credit card...but it will ultimately be a visa or mastercard ...and likely have huge interest rates...
Liquor is only available at the liquor stores..
which I think is a blessing ...considering the last thing some one trying to get away from booze doesn't need to be bombarded with bottles of it every time they go for milk and eggs....
One stop shopping is great I believe ..as long as there is accountability and support for what is being sold...
