it being a ballpark estimate without looking at the impact and associated costs of disentanglement...
but then the economic and financial scientists weighed in with their findings...on ALL the associated costs which have to bear ...and the costs started climbing.

and were stating that they wouldn't need to mint their own money...

The only case that could happen is if they did not know scarcity. But scarcity and the fight for resources is what drives the evolution. My view is that dealing with the unknown. Expect the unknown. An Alien life form can be/do anything you cant imagine. So they might be so advanced that they simply ignore us.
