I think trump should first look at perhaps paying off the back dues owed for the U.S. being a U.N. member ...
since the U.S. has never payed their U.N. member dues ...

It doesn't look good for immigration and refugees needing help ..
It doesn't look good for attempting to keep Russia or China in check..
It doesn't look good for being proactive and helpful on the global stage either...

It doesn't bode well for NAFTA which trump means to tear up... not all that great for either mexico or canada...
it will mean renegotiating all trade since trump thinks it has been a bad deal for the U.S.

For years I have watched the actual winners and losers of NAFTA ..and the US has hardly been the loser ...
well the last thing the new trump regime better do is try to squeeze us here in Canada...
Especially since there are all the electricity and water and other resource bills which are long long overdue which are owed...and those very old resource agreements ending between U.S. and Canada..are going to have to be renegotiated too
Hell....Trump believes the U.S. must reclaim Canada ...since (In his thinking he believes) at one point Canada "must" have been part of the U.S. and believes it was a bad deal to give up Canada!
So ...it will be very interesting to see what happens and how strained relations will get...

He wants the Keystone Oil Pipeline to recommence from Canada to the U.S. ...on condition he gets money out of it....hahahaha.....

Considering we figured on something going afoul 'twixt the keystone pipeline and the U.S. ....we long ago started a pipeline to the west coast to simply ship oil internationally ...to foreign countries that "actually" pay their bills...
So trump's outrageous demands have little weight in the end...

His view is coloured concerning his neighbouring countries..
