    Lets see now...
I am just doing my annual rounds of classics ...
By the time I am done them...it usually takes a few years ...
Then I start all over again...
Because I have usually forgotten the first ones by then.
    Lets see...a starting point...
Last summer I started watching...(because I can't recall what I watched before last summer off hand)

Your Pretty Face is Going to Hell series...(Damn it is a good series)
Then the entirety of the Doctor Who Series ..
Starting from the very first episodes...in anticipation of the new Doctor ..in the new season coming...(Great disappointment ..terrible acting, plots, pretty much everything...doctor is on life support now I think...)
    Finished up around Christmas .
Then it is a break for the round of critical Christmas films.
A Christmas Carol (Alistar Sims of course)
    Its a Wonderful Life
    A Christmas Story
And sundry animated films such as the original grinch who stole christmas etc...

    After Christmas ..
Then it was the Space 1999 series..(always loved the chic 1970-esque ambience of it...and the plots and science and practicality of the science made me chuckle too...)
Then it was Star Trek the original series.
(I tend to stay away from the follow up series ...)
Then Andromeda series (meh...it had a few good premises ...but slouched somewhere along the way I think...)
Then it was Black Adder series (Always a good choice)
Then Black Books series. (Fabulous series)
Then it was Children of the Stones series...(another Kneale extraordinaire)
Then it was Ace of Wands series...
Then Monty Pythons Flying Circus series ..
    Followed by Fawlty Towers series...(naturally)
West Country Tales (very good) series..
And there are a few more Brit series that are quite fabulous (I need to rewatch "Shadows" got to remember)

Of course I balance out series with a few Film series as well ...and the odd one off film...
Or I may watch a genre of films for a while....

Right now I am about half way through the entirety of the Quatermass films (Best super hero out of Britain..Professor Quatermass ) love the films. (yet another Kneale extraordinaire)
I am just about to start watching the Quatermass "Ringstone Round" episodes...
Then an about face from Britain for a bit ..
And it will be time to dive into the Kolchak the Night Stalker series...
Well done that one ...(the lead played by the father from Christmas Story...)
And that should bring me up to Easter...
And so it is time for classic films again..
    Spartacus, Ten Commandments, etc.
Finishing with Robet Graves series Claudius (hardly Easter material...but once on the Classical film train ...concerning the old world ...it is hard to get off...)
Then it should be time for James Bond...
    After that...
    I am not sure yet.

I will keep it open for a while until I decide..

I don't know whether you have something similar in Canada, but over here in Britain, we have a nice linguistic construct just for that purpose.

    -ish

    Annualish.

    Yes, that's it.

    Bi Annual
(Really hate the term because it means both twice a year and once every two years depending on the usage)

    hahaha
    I use ... - ish
    far too much
    along with ....-esque

If you just don't specify what planet's year, it could be a wide range of yearish periods . . .

Sometime during this Mars year, I need to watch the almost complete Young Indiana Jones collection, in original order with original "bookend" sequences with "Old Indy," mostly uncut and un-Lucased-up from Japanese laserdiscs acquired with a great deal of patience and an inadvisable amount of money a while back.

    Hahaha
    Thanks for that Rob
    You are absolutely right...
It does indeed matter which planet ...
Thank goodness for media storage and the plentiful number of formats for storage.
    Young Indiana wasn't unwatchable...
I am tempted to pull a full Sorbo ...and watch the continuing legendary machinations of Hercules...
(If I can stand it.....it is the point of desperation to do so.....)
but I draw the line at lucy lawless princess warrior..

Thank goodness for entire series which can be stored...
I have so many very good series stored...
It takes years to go through them all..
Then of course there are film sequels ..
    Star Trek
Star Wars (I can really only handle the original 3 ..after that it is just downhill IMO)
    Alien
    Predator
    Die Hard
    etc...
Then I tend to jump to watching films by actors...
    Bronson...
    Cagney..
    Wayne..
    Stewart..
Then tend to go for genres...
I enjoy historical as much as war or drama or scifi
In the end I usually end up in my 50s 60s and 70s B Movie vault ...
Then I usually waltz over to my audio book and old time radio vault ...(usually when late fall is turning to winter...it makes for good listening...during that time of year.)

We have this again and again thing with Dr House series. We haven't got a tv for over 20 years now but have watched with laptop. Then we sold my dream car Volvo 850 caravan T5 with black leather seats, fake wood covers, opening roof and 250hv which I bought with 2500euros but whch was too expensive to use and had it only for two years before we started to use public transport. With the money from the car we bought a pojector cause with small kids never got to go to movies. When we waited to get the next season of Dr House as DVD we started from the first and watched them all again.

Other series for me are Bourne movies (I have edited from the original 3hour Richard Chamberlain Bourne Identity movie a 2hour version), then comes other conspiracy/internet movies: Conspiracy Theory, The Net, Wargames, Enemy of the state, Swedish Millennium Trilogy, Matrix, Taken movies.

Then is my Pink Panther collection and The Party from Peter Sellers, Alice in wonderland movie collection, Don Camillo movie box and Jacques Tati Play Time and some other. And then the portrait type films: The worlds fastest Indian, Eddie the Eagle, The Walk etc.

I am going to edit the original Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy serie into a movie. Love the style and feeling but have fell on to sleep too many times watching it.

If you like Enemy of the State, you should watch an important inspiration The Conversation also with Gene Hackman (and a super-young Harrison Ford). Made by Francis Ford Coppola in between Godfathers.

I remember literally rolling in the aisle of the movie theater watching The Pink Panther Strikes Again with my Dad. I think I fell out of my seat and convulsed on the floor in laughter. Luckily I was young enough that this was acceptable, or at least excusable, behavior. I don't think I've ever laughed that hard since.

    And yup...
I was right there with you Rob...
Rolling on the floor of the theater ...as a kid....to the Pink Panther movies...
    The Party ...classic.
    Another Sellers classic....The Magic Christian...
    Love it.
I watch my Sellers collection usually mid summer...
