I don't. This is still by far the best smartphone I've ever used, it just feels like something is lacking compared to the N800. A large part of that is just in hardware. I like the larger screen, better speakers, and direction pad on the front of the device. I like that the kickstand goes all the way across the back and that you can slide your hand through it to hold it. The shorter stylus seems easier to use.
On the software side things are less clear. The basic UI and functionality seems to work better "out of the box" in Diablo, but I do keep finding ways to customize the software in N900 to get it closer to how I'd like...which I certainly haven't been able to do with something like Android.
btw...quick side question. Is there a keyboard shortcut to bring up the application menu? I seem to have poor luck at hitting the menu in the upper left portion of the screen on the first try.
Good points about the n800.. But it didnt have a phone! Try adding that to it lol.
There is another important drawback for N9 is the lack of HW keyboard, this makes some software such as Open Office unusable.
OpenOffice in Easy Debian Harmattan has MeeGo virtual keyboard (inside LXDE). Just turn off some top toolbars and use web view to have a larger visible text area to type.

Thanks I'm aware of this. I used the wrong word, not unusable but in a not very good experience.
The user has to close the tool bar and the visual keyboard takes more than half of the screen. It's not convenient to use the tools and the visible area is not big enough.
Once there is a HW keyboard the visible area is much bigger.
got an n9 returened in one week later....nite get anoda later depends on how it goes...but for now i hate the fone...m using the money to get a c7 and finish the computerm building. the main prob with the n900 for me is thrbulkyness which ive solved with a custom strap pack i can attach anywhere on my jeans..so n900 for everything ..c7 for light gaming..8mp camera (really good) n few tweaks ..reliving the load on my n900..after getting all the android apps wen i used the galaxy..i dont even use most of em...i game on my console n pc so wat the hell
I'm not puzzled about what Nokia was thinking. I'm puzzled about the stupidity in buying two N9s if they're only in box. But buying three, that one goes beyond my abilities in solving stupidity-puzzles.
You are absolutely right. Hence I overcompensated and bought 3 N900s )
I have 3 N9s and they are all sitting in my box. n900 is in use alongside iphone 4s for biz use. i just cant believe what a downgrade n9 is. what was Nokia thinking
man, don't wanna sell one to me? I did cracked my screen and wanna to replace it... but I'm worried about the selling parts quality...
