Any reason you narrowed your options to just these three?
Here is my review (more of a rant) of the N9 in comparison to the N900 and HTC Sensation. And things have improved quite a bit on the Sensation since ICS came out.

As to the N8 and 808, I have never used them so I cannot comment on them. For what my opinion is worth, I simply HAD to buy one of these phones, I'd go with the N8. It's cheap, it has a great camera, the build quality is outstanding and it's cheap. But if I did not have to limit my answer to one of these phones, I'd go with an Android phone like the Galaxy S3.

If it HAS to be Nokia, then yeah the; N8, n9, 808 are the best choices.
The N8 is the best Symbian phone to date, but then again it is a Symbian phone. It borders on a smartphone, but behaves like a featurephone. I wouldn't recommend it, however the camera is awesome.
The PureView 808 I heard is "worse" phone than N8 but a much "better" camera. So if taking photo's is really important to you, then this is the one to get.
The N9 is great, but the amount of (or should I say) lack of support from Nokia has really made it a bastardized-n900 or a glorified-n8. It's more of an iPhone without the Apps, that's targetting the niche of developer community with some software hurdles in place (nice one Elop).
Overall, the "best" NOKIA choice right now would be the Lumia 900.
You would have WP7.8 and the features it provides. A good mid-range offerings. And long-term software support from Nokia and Microsoft.
PS, I would recommend the HTC TiTAN2 (WP7.5) over the Lumia 900... but Android offerings above them such as:
-NOTE 2
-NOTE
-Gnex
-Pantech Vega S5
-SGS 3
-LG 4X-HD
-Captivate Glide
-EPIC 4G

just need a bit of advice here...
so im down to a choice of 3 devices...the nokia 808, n8 and the n9...
the 808 is in contention because i do like taking photos as i travel alot and like to snap a pic of great things ive seen...i would in no way call myself a photographer just like taking pics...and ive seen and heard so much positives about the camera...i do not own a dedicated camera...as i dont like lugging around with a gazillion devices...i am in no way adversed to Symbian/Belle..quite like it still...the downfall of the 808 is the price...even though im going to get one for close to 500usd (which i think is still good)
the n8 is in no way as great as the 808 but still quite satisfying...(owned one) the price now i around 200usd max....which saves me 300usd if i go with it....the downfall of the n8...is the 808 lol...
the n9...not sure how great of a camera it has as i didnt have it long enough to really go into mega photo taking....especially low light conditions...(can someone fill me in on this?) of course the n9 is no 808 or n8 camera wise....but how decent are the pictures? this is the downfall of the n9...the upswing is that its the n9! there wont be another.....if the n9 was somewhat like the n900 (in terms of browser and openess) it would be hands down winner....is the n9 now "fully" opened? as in like the n900 was? and how great is firefox (with flash)? comparable to microb? (premiere league starts on saturday must watch my games on the go!! lol)
any thoughts or advice will be appreciated. thanks
