I've been messing around in Linux since the last century, I've used punch cards to program an IBM 360, used Mac, Windows and BSD; I consider myself to be fairly knowledgable. However, I can't seem to set up an account on the E-mail client on my N800. I've tried two different POP3 accounts (Gmail and cwazy mail), but am unable to send or receive - it times out. It wants to use a connection-specific server, although I've unchecked that option. I'd appreciate any helpful hints for account settings.
