I was the UI presentation video on Slush and also the interview with Marc where he said "it's now working with 9 apps"

    Same with Sailfish...

damn.. in the meantime... Android becomes more popular by the day and Symbian is shrinking.

bad era to be a google "hater" & a smartphone enthusiast.
N9 Harmattan wasn't late, it was just killed off prematurely by Elop himself (even if N9 sells better than Lumia, we won't go back to MeeGo strategy). N9 based on its reception would have sold very well if marketed like the Lumias and sold in heavy hitter markets, gather lots of people's attention toward Harmattan, have increased app development, etc. After half a year, Nokia should have packaged Harmattan in the 920 shell with all its current features and it would have been golden in the Android/iOS era.

Props to Flop for the effort in collapsing Nokia, though.

Just to clear things up about how many apps can be opened in the home screen watch below:

-No landscape mode for the launcher at the moment
Designs are still work in progress and improving!

And Marc's phone seems also to have a white-on-black "Unlike" sticker at the bottom (but still looks like a N950 to me)

Of course it was late. It should have been launched by 2010 (in the form on the N950). If you remember the story.

It's a miracle that Nokia released it of course. With no love at all that is, agreed on that.
Nokia indeed did not care much for the N9 after its release and didn't care a lot before it either.

Sorry, but believe is not a option right here.. watch this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NtEbOGuxuig 3:10 - 4:26. It is very straight. Show me video, which one have more than 4 apps running on home screen... Then i believe too.

I do not want to be the party killer. I only try to get all info here . I try to update the firs page very often, so you can watch all videos there

Maybe it's something that like this?:

Meego harmattan is 99% Maemo. Or.. Could i say -41% Maemo (stripped).

Sailfish is the real Meego.. If it's not capable of make just a bad *** multitasking which the Maemo can??

No, the ""real"" Meego is NemoOS. The continuation of Meego CE

Harmattan & Sailfish are Nokia's and Jolla's OSes based on the Meego core. Think of it as "meego flavors"

Maemo is Maemo and has its own "flavors". Diablo, Fremantle etc
