Hmmm, @jolla just tweeted Tomi Ahonen this message:

@JollaHQ: @tomiahonen, we have a device for you in HK. With dual boot option @toninikkanen @MartiMasaKoegx

Could this be a Sailfish phone??? Jolla could be very close in terms of product development!

[edit: "HK" probably refers to Hong Kong, where Tomi is based]

It could be simply an N950 with Sailfish on it. I don't think it clearly indicates that they are done with their upcoming hardware.

Maxian... Don't make jokes with 3210-3330. They ruled the world once... And even in the universe...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FT7K_429YWc Can you please include N97 in that story instead? or even better N97 mini?

Pretty sure that's what they meant, yes, considering that post was in the context of buying an N950.

Even if they do unveil a device soon, as that Finnish article said (we can hope), that doesn't mean the release is near.

That is as likely as a disc phone...Firstly if they will announce the device within weeks the main design is done. Second a disc phone or a slider is not Scandinavian design.

it's a one body phone with very few hwbuttons. Nothing that makes anyone to notice it.

But lets hope I'm totally wrong

EXCellent! Now max 25 days left! special edition to preorders in may. Grab your money and PAY!

But why did they say they will release late this year? They announce it early May and release it in Nov dec... Something is not right with the information we have. Ħuʍop puɐ dn sı plɹoM ǝɥ┴ Fishy...

    This would be cool...

Duuude, it appears that there are different device modifications or looks that will be available to early supporters, depending on how much they pre-pay. Perhaps that and the need to raise more money factor into the delay.

Reportedly, it won't be too much of an expense. But unique devices for true fans is quite appealing!
