Today and i got "HASH SUM MISMATCH" from extras-devel repository.Only this repository is probleming,others extras-testing,extras and fremantle-sdk repositorys is still works

Hello,

I still get an Error on some of the repositories at skeiron.org when trying to update my N900 via program-manager or fapman..
The error-message is "Sub-process bzip2 returned an error code (2)"

After browsing trough those repos it looks like the cause of that is that the file "Packages.bz2" is missing in those repositories. The files Packages and Packages.gz however are there.

Any idea how I could overcome this ?

Hey, all. I got this question, dunno whether this is the right thread for it. The thing is: is it possible to download the whole catalogue from skeiron.org/repo/repository.maemo.org with some download utility? I am trying to do that with wget but seems skeiron.org/robots.txt won't allow me. It contains as follows:
User: *
Disallow: /
Is there some way of accomplishing my goal? The reason for this is simple: sooner or later maemo platform will dye which means neither any updates of packages, nor any repos availability (in my heart, i hope not) and eventually the r.i.p N900. It is absolutely unacceptable, because there is NO alternative for maemo/meego out there. Downloading all the stuff and keeping that in a well protected place won't cause the possible future headache. Moreover, I have my own paid hosting service and I could upload all the stuff for people to use it as well. Thus, we could have one more mirror. Sounds good, I guess.

The whole point of the recent downtime was to prolong the life of Maemo.
It's being moved by our community to a publicly available server supported by our community.

These mirrors (i.e skeiron) are being paid for out of the pockets of community members while we are in transition.

There is no need to have personal backups IMO when the autobuilder is back you will have to keep it updated. We have enough mirrors at the moment.

Hi!! I'm kind of new here. Just got a n900 for a gift and wanted to flash it. How ever all the threads for flashing are pointing to page for files that are already down. If anyone can point me in the right direction I'd be most appreciative.
