Ah again arguing and caught the point of hair drier that i recomended him as he wont have a hot air gun as i have
and as per you its true that they can cause extensive (umm full permenant damage) to the device if not used accordingly
in this operation its just needed to quicken the process of drying the board of ethyl . Say just hover over the bourd avove 2cm for 15 seconds and its done . So you dont have to wait 15 minutes to dry it up
as for the alchol part just dip the tip of the brush so that low amount is used each time

as for me i dont even consider them as problems like usb, network issues,fried parts like charging .ics, no audio ,no display light etc its just a matter of minuts for me to find the rouge.

This guy have a temporary crippled phone, that can be recovered easily and that can work perfect afterwards, but you recommend a method that can damage the whole PCB internal circuitry.

As for what I tried, I already had a dead device, and I was missing a proper soldering station and professional toolkit to proper reflow/reball the chips. So for me it was already a dead end, I tried that, because it was a small chance to work, and why not take that chance? But I see you lack the ability to understand some stuff, or is it just your indian ego... that you are an expert in hw and you can never be wrong.

water dosent dry up easily inside phones specialy under the display and those sheilds also the contact points magicaly retain water that causes oxydation which in turn with the help of moisture shorts circuits that damages components and worst things happen when its left like that the layout corrodes to unusuablity and on such cases making a jumper is also very hard even for skilled ones

If anyone wants to ensure his device to be ok if he dip it in water the first thing to do would be pull out battery and let it dry till you belive its dry enough dont even try to check by turning on the device that its working or not or even click a button to turn on the screen after u just dipped it . Just remove battery let it dry if possible clean with ethyl and start using it
most damage happens when people try to check wet device if its working or not

Before even replying again, please learn how to use proper english, and even if you use abbreviations, use them in their place. When you write a long post it's a headache to understand what the hell you meant to say.

Water don't dry easily, yes, but it's a more safe method to use silica (or rice) and a hot room (it's summer right now, and outside temps are >30C and humidity <10-20%) so the drying process will be faster in these conditions (because we don't talk generally, we talk to try help an user with a problem NOW). Still, you turn around at 180 degrees with every reply you give me, by saying this method is good, then you change your mind that is not good, then again that is good (with an air gun) and now again that is not good and he should not use it.

Also, if i really deserve a warn, or a ban for saying this, I can proudly accept it: but you just went full ret*rd... It's possible via service port and JTAG, but it's not as easy as using Maemo Flasher. Going to sleep pretty late anyway raceism is bad
i do handle a lot of phones with hardware problems so its the experience that says and the water wont dry easily with rice or silica it woud take atleast 48 hours
and i really dont know how a seemingly hardware problem be cured with software maybe i am arrogant and yup my knowledge is too crude
and what i offerd was a simple and effective cure even noobs can do it
and you said jtag na its awful has too much problems offensive support like good hwk i do own that jtag but mxkey is the master for now
anyway i said to flash by soldering wires to the fbus pins that u surely can do via maemo flasher as u woudnt have acess to boxesit has its hurdles of its own but doable by investing some time
all the methords i said in any post are personally tried by me
yup my english is bad but m improving hoping 65% on the upcoming results at least wish me luck on that
