    I tried the tutorial (http://wiki.maemo.org/index.php?titl...allation_Guide) several times, including complete erase of my N950 but each time after running step " Step 3 - Flash the OpenMode" the device shows an information message (yellow exclamation mark with a message saying that a non standard firmware is installed) followed by a Nokia logo (plain text, no circle around the logo). All I can do then to make it work again is to flash the original firmware on the device again.

    The only thing I do different compared to the manual is that I use the N950 firmware instead of the N9 firmware.

    Regards,
    ignore the warning and wait some seconds more

    The warning is not the problem (it disappears after a few seconds) but after this I only see the Nokia logo which remains for hours.

    [EDIT]: After some reboots I finally got it working.

Harmattan works but when I try to put the phone into dev mode for flashing (not terminal, that works), it is not recognized (the flasher doesn't recognize it when i do flasher -i). Any help on reflashing or fixing it? I cannot boot into sailfish atm.

    ~~~~~ I fixed the problem
    Now however, when I restarted from the beginning (reflashed with no preserve, did open mode, booted, everything was stable), the moslo kernel was not able to repartition the device. I get, on the green text screen, and error that says it was not able to repartition. partition not created, and so I cannot boot because it gets stuck on the warning screen for modified OS' (didn't bother to remove it). Any fixes?
    I had the same problem with re-partitioning and tried several times from beginning, the same problem occurred, finally I completely format device with "flasher -f -F main.bin --erase-user-data=secure -F emmc.bin --erase-mmc=secure" and it solved the problem with re-partitioning- Then just follow with the other steps from wiki (http://wiki.maemo.org/Sailfish#) and succeeded.
    Arh! Just the same: Activate command 'Install' start running says 'waiting' and nothing happens.
    Credentials same as login to jolla account - correct?
    Does it matter you have release=1.0.2.5
    I use same but vgrade r5.1?
    Thanks for all the replies guys.
    I used the complete format as suggested by corvinux
    Now everything is working.
    Also, is there a way to allocate more space from the 16GB to the user? The OS has like 8GB to itself, including apps and whatnot. This really bugs me because I have a 16GB device but I have like 8GB of storage.
    Edit:
    I installed sailfish by extracting the image but I am unable to boot it. When I select sailfish in the ubiboot menu, it does not work, but when I select harmattan, it runs fine. I get a black screen when selecting sailfish, and I have to force shutdown the phone. Could it have something to do with my partitions? When I connected the phone I didn't see alt_os (I was using a linux VM, so it should have shown up right?).
    @Garp you used encoded password form, not plain text, right?
    @Shadwblade2652 maybe you should wait longer while sailfish loading?
    No, just open file (Ubuntu Alt_F2) gksu nautilus, deleted content, copy your code and key in user and passw in plain text, saved etc AND checked again!
    EDIT: OBS! There were no credentials in my original file see attached!
    @Garp you need to remove Jolla account, reboot, and create it again.
