I removed my Facebook account from phone and re-added, it restored contacts.
I have already tried this in the morning but the error occured again I'll try again tommorow...
for sure it's facebook, because of this issuse mine battery does not last even one day... 2 days ago, my baterry lasted 2 days easily... with the same usage... and I was not changing anything
I had this problem in the past and figured out deleting my Facebook account and adding it again solved the problem. But now I have a similar problem. Contacts is showing five 'Facebook User' entries. All the same name (Facebook User) and they contain no info. Removing them seems impossible.

I had this problem a while ago, and i noticed my N9 was not the problem. It was beacuse those fb friends just temporarily disabled their fb account
