I have met 2 n900s. One at a party (a long term linux user) and another in the hands of the manager of a computer store. The latter's owner knew diddly squat about the phone. Never went back to the store. On principle.

Nice idea to make a N900 week. However I celebrate every day my N900.
But to get the same feeling, I charged all my linux smarties.

    Now I have a look at my A780, A1200, Freeruner, N900 and N950....
I must say the best phone is the N900. By the way I also had an Iphone2 and it is the only mobile I sold after a week.

Sadly I don't know new hacks for the N900 but maybe I get some inspirations.

Hehe this week I'm using this boot screen:

I use the N900 every day, today I've updated Yappari :-) thanks Scorpius! Noticed Copernicus is around the forums again.

About the micro USB port, I use it only sometimes, to avoid the known broken USB problem. I bought one of these external wall chargers:

For transferring files I use WiFi. Installed WinSCP on the PC:

Then install OpenSSH on the N900 and voilą. Tutorial here:

By chance or not, I'll probably do another N900-based event like this this weekend http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=88756

And, with OpenSSH I was able to fix a client's backup process (AMANDA) from the check out line at the grocery store yesterday.

Try to get Siri to do that that with an iPhone...

    Long live the N900!

GUYS, I refuse you to even care about the new lineup of samsung/sony/etc devices. It's all about the N900 this week!

Am trying to do things on my n900, but it's kinda slow after quadcore experience. Nevertheless, still beating the crap out of all those dumb iphones. My amusement went beyond the understandable two days ago, when i found out you can't respond to an email, if you want to insert an attachment on iDont. I was like ''what dafuq!!!''.
