Rocket is a full featured twitter client for Maemo!

    Current state: 0.0.6-maemo1 beta Download
    CSSU Stable update required. http://wiki.maemo.org/Community_SSU

Refer to original post by ukhamitov for rocket features, discussion and requests

    This is backport!
Please use this thread only for maemo5 bugs, problems and q&a

    Yay!

    Screenshots:

If you missing qt-components-10-com-nokia.meego-1.1-compat dependency, you should enable extras-devel
    and do:
    Code:
    apt-get update
    apt-get install qt-components-10-com-nokia.meego-1.1-compat
or enable extras-devel install nelisquare, make sure that version 0.5+ pulled
    Code:
    apt-get update
    apt-get install nelisquare
Rocket have some bugs in both, maemo and meego versions. They will be fixed on both platforms soon

Many thanks for the continued support. I love tweeting from my N900. I usually use TwimGo and Tweed Suit. I shall now try this out. From the screenshots, I'm already liking the UI. It's modern and MeeGo style. Also, I would love it if you could integrate the Lists to the main columns. I would imagine being able to scroll between columns of select Lists either by swiping left or right or tapping on left/right arrows somewhere.

With all of its flaws, I really love it - great work.

I really hope it will get ported to SailfishOS, when time comes.

Thank you!! I like it. Thanks for backporting both Tweetian and Rocket. I see a problem with the UI, though. Two important program actions are placed at the top corners, thus making task switching and closing rather difficult. But it's a great app.

I'll add minimize and exit menu entries.

When is it going to be available in a repository? I downloaded the .deb file and installed it "semi-manually" (and before that, I had to install Nelisquare through Fapman), i.e. from a file manager which in turn launched application manager to install it.

Anyway, I managed to log in (apparently), but there were no content, and the app eventually crashed. Later on, it would always just crash. The device was rebooted twice in the meantime. Should I uninstall it, and try installing the .deb file with "apt-get install" instead?

i dont think that app become available at repositories until it become stable.

You cannot install deb with "apt-get install", only with "dpkg -i".
Meanwhile, crash bug is known on some phones, and i'm trying to resolve it.
