Congratulations for the job done dirkvl! I'll probably need a repair too someday, as some keys still fail to register (unless I press really hard on the key + the back). I've not really used the KB so far due to that issue, but I'm not in a hurry at all these weeks: no time to tinker with my Jolla.

I finally got my keyboard (I was almost last in line)! It is great! Almost all keys work easily (left shift isn't perfect) and fingerterm is actually useful all of a sudden!
Great work Dirkvl, and thank you very much!
Now I just need to figure out how to map a keyboard button to turning off the on-screen keyboard and all will be perfect! Anyone have a clue on how to do it?

Actually you cant turn vkb completely off, as text input stops working iirc.
The installer provides "minimal" vkb, TOHKBD, which to you can change.

At least for Fingerterm, you can completely switch off the vkb in the Fingerterm settings menu.

No, all the voltages are not zero on the back of the phone, but when the keyboard is attached, there's no voltage when measuring from the wires in the keyboard.

Hello,
I have a problem with the Keyboard.
I have installed 0.30 rpm file.
I have put the keyboard.
But impossible to write with the keyboard.
Here is my error and sometimes this error disapear when i restart the service.

Is the tohkbd-0.30-10.9.1.jolla.armv7hl.rpm file compatible with last version of sailfish or not?
