Has anyone been able to acquire ORIGINAL replacement stylii for the N800 from Nokia directly or through a third party and if so, how? I have made multiple attempts to inquire about this through the Nokia website/email. Their phone support has been basically useless. Whenever I call them for support on my N800, I usually get some run around about what kind of phone I have and what the phone number, etc. It takes me 15 minutes usually just to convince them that Nokia does in fact sell anything other than phones. That accomplished, the only answer I ever get is "I don't know, but I'll check" which always results in NOTHING. Nokia's post sale support is amongst the worst I have experienced in my 15+ years of being a gadget fiend.

Someone discovered that stiluses were available on some foreign Nokia sites -- search here to find the discussion.

Yeah, I saw that thread. Unfortunately, I live in the US of A and not Finland. I spoke to some Europeans on the #maemo and they tried clicking on the order link and were taken to some sort of "bad or missing" item web page or something. Has anyone on ITT ever successfully ordered a replacement stylus (I'll take 5!) from Nokia?

I tried this a while ago from England. I spoke to order online and got a bad link. Then I spoke to the Nokia call centre in Germany (I think) and got told it is not possible to order them yet.

Finally I spoke to a Nokia dealer in High Wycombe, England, who promised to investigate. He finally got back t me about a week later and said he had found out he could order a N800 sylus for me, from Nokia, but it would cost £15.

Given that's about the quarter of the cost of a new N770, I passed on the offer.

And wouldn't you know it, I found my missing stylus the next day.

Anyway, if you want a stylus at an exhorbitant price, I'll dig out the name of the dealer!

Since so many people claim Irish ancestry I am sure you can all call on a long lost relative to help you out
http://direct.nokia.com/Product.aspx?model=StylusN800

If your Irish connection fails then there is a uk eBay seller who charges £15 each.

Failing which go here for €9.90 each

Just found my bookmark for the eBay guy

He sells all sorts for the N800 incl battery covers, camera, stand support and so on. He is not cheap but has a living to make.

The last one sells to professionals only. I'm a professional unemployed person -- does that count?

Someone who wants to make some extra money should buy 100 of them and sell them for $5 each. We non-pros would appreciate it.

well, I just tried to order 20 styli, and the minimum order is ~75 pcs, Id be willing to give it a go but Id probably have to go fo a 5$ us price point + actual shipping or maybe 6 bucks I dunno Id have to do the math, Id use fleabay so once you factor in my shipping to get them, then ebays & paypals cut packing materials and such, it would probably almost be worth it(not to mention I lost my last one yesterday)...

So like any good businessman Id like to gauge the intrest at a 5-7$ price point, Id have to investigate shipping options before I can get a more concrete price...

So post if you'd be intrested, cause the wifey would kill me if Im stuck with 80 styli to pass on to my kids kids...

Just got off the phone with them and they said 1 you have to be a "authorized nokia repair schmuck" and that the part listed as (sku 370089, mfg part# 0269433) is NOT the stylus but the "stylus assembly" which hold the stylus in its place... so the saga continues, the phone rep said they do not sell the stylus, just the stylus assembly(which shows a pic of the stylus only on the website)
