    As I understand it, it may be dangerous to reboot the device after updating a Jolla app to the new version without doing the update to 1.0.2.5.
    The store will fail to start.

    If you are in this messy situation already, you could try updating the store-client via pkcon and see if this fixes things. Do a "pkill store-client" after updating the store-client.

    If you have updated a Jolla app today but did not update to 1.0.2.5 yet, or are not able to update yet, leave the store UI open. This will prevent the store from closing down, after which it cannot be started.

    Just to confirm, updating the store-client does work, although you may need to delete and re-add your Jolla account afterwards.

    Hmm. The store showed 7 updates, and no system update yet. So hey, why not start? After updating Calendar, nothing happened any more. After a while I rebooted, tried some more and then read pycage's post #21.

    pkcon update store-client went OK. It took a while from 0% to 40%, then quickly to 80% and then again a few minutes to complete.

    System update is not working, Downloading does not go beyond 5%. "Problem with store, problem with upgrading."
    All other updates have installed properly, or so it seems.

    Deleting and re-adding Jolla account does not help.

    There is some info posted here regarding the problems with Jolla Store not starting after partial update:

    If you have the store UI open, leave it open until you are able to upgrade to 1.0.2.5.

    If you already find yourself in the situation that the store crashes each time, do a

    pkcon install store-client

    and

    pkill store-client

    in the Terminal. This requires Developer Mode.

    Without Developer Mode, AFAIK only a reset to factory default will help.
    I can confirm that Jolla Store opens now...

    Ehhmm... Didn't notice that pycage (the author of the fix on together.jolla.com) had already replied here too... D'OH...

    Although on second thought the lack of correct account sign in might have been due to my running store-client from the command line while debugging it.

    After "pkcon refresh" I get:
    Code:
    Cache verversen               [=========================]
    Wachten in wachtrij           [=========================]
    Wachten op authenticatie      [=========================]
    Wachten in wachtrij           [=========================]
    Opstarten                     [=========================]
    Software lijst verversen      [=========================]
    Fatale fout: Download (curl) fout voor 'https://store-repository.jolla.com/releases/1.0.2.5/jolla-hw/adaptation-android-common/armv7hl/repodata/repomd.xml?credentials=store':
    Foutcode: Unrecognized error
    Foutboodschap: Empty reply from server
    Sorry for all the Dutch wording, I never asked for that. "Fout" means "Error".
    The last item "Refreshing software list" sticks at 12% for quite some time before returning the error message. Entering "pkill store-client" before makes no difference.

    On together.jolla.com Sailor wrote an answer apparently, but I don't understand how to solve my problem now.

    Because this implies having jolla-settings-accounts updated
