Okay, so i've enabled 4g on my device, but when I switch it to 4g, it just says offline, searching

My area has 4G coverage, so i'm not sure what's wrong

I'll try it again after work when i'm outside

are the bands that Jolla supports for 4G same bands that are used by your operator/country?

And you have a 4G enabled subscription?

I had to activate 4G on my service- not just the phone (see http://www.virginmobile.com.au/4g). You also have to make sure you're using the 'yesinternet' APN - not the virgin one.

Yup, I went to a Virgin store a couple of weeks ago and had it activated, and I also called the other day to activate it

Have been using the Optus APN for a few weeks now

Has there been the slightest hint from Jolla yet, that expansion beyond the EU is imminent?
Australia should be one of the 1st countries outside of the EU that they look at...
One of the highest disposable incomes /capita in the world, amongst other stats that make it "ripe for the picking".

Yes, according to what was said on MWC.
    Australia was not mentioned, though.

And what did they say? I only recall a continuation of "hints + no substantiation".
Honest question, not trying to argue or anything...

    Quoting the press release:

Jolla is now rapidly entering into new markets, and is negotiating with partners in several countries, including Russia, India and Hong Kong where Jolla will open online sales in the near future. Negotiations in several European countries are well on the way for Jolla to soon open new channels in main European markets.
