vagrant based virtual machine image for n900 development
Hi,
I have done some work for a vagrant (http://www.vagrantup.com) based SDK for the n900. The Vagrant file can be found here https://github.com/silvio/vagrant-n900-sdk On my todo list: * insert all packages they are needed to install the whole sdk (maybe as a own repository). Some suggestions to improve this?

What is the benefit compared to scratchbox?

No benefits because you still use scratchbox. But If you search the vm sdk from nokia (http://maemovmware.garage.maemo.org/2nd_edition/) the downloadlink goes to a page which not existing anymore. I have searched a way to setup a development environment (in a virtual machine) for the n900 on a easy way.
The only benefit is that you have no hassle to setup the environment. Last edited by silviof; 2014-02-03 at 21:31. Reason: some clarifications
