This "Meego Pad" is based on Win8.1.
It seems that they have no intention at all to develop for meego.(Their unofficial reason is the "lack of software", though I'm sure the main reason is still development/maintainance cost)
Also,it should be based on 3735D,as the chinese version, since I did not find "Z3350D" on Intel's own webpage. The Chinese version is also 70$ cheaper.
The "MeegoPad" company says they are developing Android/Windows 8.1 dual boot, but it cames to a halt since their broadcom Wi-Fi chip is not a part of intel reference design.

meego pad based on android/win8 having 0 to do "with" meego= square peg

Linux foundation meego trademark stipulations= round hole

    Ergo...They don't go together.

Nah, way too big. Nobody wants a plank like that for a phone.

On the other hand, there was something a lot more interesting launced at the same time; http://www.google.com/nexus/9/
Now that's something I might get if the prize is acceptable.

A keyboard! Who would have imagined

Here is a handy accessory for using the Nexus 9 as a phone during long calling sessions.
Just like the with the hardware keyboard, that nice retro feeling is included

Are you kidding? Todays NY Times

Also, I like the Nexus 9 but why only 32GB memory and no micro sd card? Even the Nexus 6 can be purchased with 64GB storage. Go figure... Anyways, I have a Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 (unfortunately discontinued but can be found for $250-$300) that only came with16GB but it at least has a micro sd slot so I can easily store my 8GB Fedora Image plus other stuff.
