'buntu phone just released in eu flash sale already sells out ...twice.

For myself I'll wait for more all around stability out of 'em before going down the road of another os. Frankly I am somewhat disappointed with what it is/ has turned into thus far.

Things should finally hit desktop and console performance.

...okay here's the Latest and Greatest, Snapdragon 810.

Great review by Anad as usual

I don't know about iOS but I wouldn't be surprised if Android OS goes badly with 2 or even 3GB.

An OS which gives all the control to apps and removes the control from the user, is an slave of 3rd party software companies, so only facebook, whatsapp or whatever "must to have" app can decide about the future of hardware and performance.

I cannot see the point in create "better" devices; I mean better hardware when the OS is just an experiment test which succed in the markets with kind of prototype, which never should leave a laboratory.

(note: I had many phones and some android phones in my life, and honestly i cannot see a real progress in the last 4 years)

    +1 to that.
    I Completely agree.
I believe it is a huge leap backward towards a dark age than moving forward.
Sure as far as the official message goes.. it is allll meant to make for "ease of use for the consumer" with "a better product" as part of the solution.
I see it ...I'm sure we all plainly see it now...this is not progress with choice for the individual ...shy of the choice to buy into the devices, platforms or philosophy ... This is overtly and blatantly obvious undecorated epitome of the ever-present exerting force of corporation, control and mongers of all wicked type getting their way

512MB? That's a rare N900 you have there! The rest of us make do with 256MB.

It might not be the latest but it's by far still the greatest (at least until the Neo900 becomes available).

    yeah...now I have to admit ...
    firefox os...
    upgradable ...
take it apart to modify ...
    extending it's lifespan...
    and it looks ... "right"
    yeah that's the word.
the price makes me go "ouch"...
not enough to turn me off ...
    and it is understandable ..
it costing more by being a new idea not done by the big 4... google, wp, android and iphone...

Considering it's purpose and function .. a minimalistic device was inevitable with the devices we have been escalating to...
    and ...I kinda like it.

    a bit more info...
