Is there any plans getting suggestions available even from a single dictionary? Now that the virtual keyboard is hidden when using TOHBD also the language selection and suggestions are hidden.
I hope auto-complete would not be completely disabled and that it would be available just as a bottom row of the screen, and by pressing enter on the keyboard we can select the highlighted word, or tap the screen to select any other word.
This is useful if you need to write in a language which you do not know completely and even though you can get the grammar right, the spelling is quite a bit more complicated, such as French for many English-speaking learners.
Ideally, the autocomplete could be turned on or off in the settings to appease both those that don't find it helpful, and those that find it helpful.
or binded to ALT or whatever, why not increase your typing speed!?
but don't know if this is possible, other stuff needs to be fixed first
So i guess i should be expecting my qwertz to Slovenia soon then :>
Not so sure, the first Azerty were delivered long ago and still waiting mine despite a low order number. I guess it depends on the color combinations and stuff.

Jolla invoker[1287]: WARNING: Xt9: not supported language "toh"
The language is set in the configuration file for the keyboard layout, atm it is minimized TOHKBD when kbd is attached.
However with coming sailfish update (not propably on next yet) the Maliit server is going to support VKB hiding when external keyboard is connected, so even this minimized will go away.
Need to check is it even possible then to use Xt9 with external keyboard, iirc i tested it by changing language to something else than "toh", and it kinda worked. But it requires the current TOHKBD vkb layout to access the suggestions. Also, there would need to be TOHKBD config file for every language..
A colleague told me there was a parcel for me today at work. I immediately started to get excited, and focused on hiding it because, you know, getting excited for a stupid smartphone's keyboard would be lame. But still, 30 sec later I was trying to get my package.
I ended up with a bunch of plastic boxes to archive microtubes. I hate everything today.
