Who said about easy? Seeing some sailors' comments on gtk (hope never to see that pos on sfos, or similar) I assume some lipstick coding will be needed, but the main blockers should be gone

Or XWayland might be easier, but gtk3 is supposedly wayland compatible now (weston rewrite/port easier?)

I've not looked into the versions or dependencies at all, but I'm running Libreoffice without gtk3. I'm running LIbreoffice-still on Arch.
