Yes they! If Nitdroid, with all of its flaws is loaded, it might run quite well, but Meego is very slowly booting and those few apps a slow as well. Ubuntu runs like a fully unity desktop on that 600MHz processor with 256 MB RAM. The N900 simply has not the power to run those systems faster
