I have a question, how can I start a conversation with Whatsup? I can't search a contact or at least, contact list show me only a contact, I only can answer to them.

If you are interested in WhatsApp functionality on N9 please consider to contribute! At least a bit of time for searching in the proper thread. Instead of just spitting out a question and let the others do the work.

beginning a conversation seems to have stopped a few months ago when WhatsApp again changed their protocol and no N9 dev around to follow. Syncing contacts is not possible anymore. So you have to ask them to message you and then you can add and answer them. Or you do edit the conf database on your own (will need more spoon feeding, I guess )

I don't think that is correct peterleinchen, I am running Whatsup at my N9 and I made a successful syncing just an hour ago, even with the pictures. I have no problems with Whatsup at all, everything works just fine.

My problem is this: I can't sync my contacts with my Google account, so, I can't see my whatsup contact.
I though was simple like others OS, adding gmail account means sync contacts, but not with N9.
Have you a solution? I've bought this week, I don't know anything about Harmattan.

I got confused with all thos WassIsLos, WattLos, WassnLos apps
I was referring to WazzApp. WhatsUp is the choice to go on N9 these days.
And yes syncing contats is only about phonebook contacts with WhatsApp data gathering server.
That is what I meant, my problem is my phone book don't sync with Google account, so Whatsup don't sync with my phone book, I asked if there is a way to sync my phone book with Google.
