I've build myself few extra cables so I'm selling serial cable that you can plug into audio-port and you get kernel serial console access to device. Useful for people who want to read kernel messages for kernel- and/or Sailfish OS -developers.

This useless for most of the people. If you don't know what this is then you really don't need it.

Should also work for Nexus4 and Nexus7, but I have only tested each serial cable on Nexus5 and kernel output is shown fine (tested using Ubuntu's minicom). And disclaimer if you break your device don't blame me.

Details for techies: I've modified USB dongles TTL level to be 1.8V, and serial console wakeup 3.3V has 100Ohm resistor added so things won't blow up if you happen to short circuit stuff.

Price for one is 25e through Paypal (send PM if you want to order one). You can build one for cheaper yourself, but this is for people who don't want to fire up soldering iron or are too lazy to do so.

Ya, if it works for Nexus7 (first version) I might have a need for it sooner or later... (just now building SFOS for Nexus7...)

OTOH, if it works with the level shiftes I already have, might build it myself...

I do have 1st version nexus7 in my shelve, I just havent had time to test if it needs custom kernel parameters or not.

Edit: should work on Nexus7 if you append console-line in aboot image after 26 chars. http://delta.fratler.de/154-nexus-7-uart-unlocked/
