Not really, it's still at least 6mth away...

I don't see how, maybe "just", but if drags out longer than 6mth it certainly won't be.
Dunno when the N1's shipping, looks pretty uninteresting to me too...

'for me' being the operative words.

Personally, having IR, HDMI and a pen are minus points 'for me', especially if I have to pay extra for things I'm never going to use.

IR? what on earth would you use IR for these days? Even my TV is controlled by WiFi.

Not sure if this was answered. Are there any details on the SoC / GPU for the Jolla tablet? Will it be Intel Broadwell with proper Intel GPU, or it will be that nasty PowerVR again with Android blobs for Wayland? I really wish it's not the later, that would be very annoying.

None for me, and I'm a newbie.

Not half as annoying as every comment needing approval though - meant all my comments were missed in fast-moving threads at the beginning, almost put me off these boards entirely.

Based on the comments in that thread, it looks like it has a PowerVR GPU, therefore I'm out. I don't need another tablet but I was strongly considering purchasing this device up until that point.

Moorefield only seems to support LPDDR3. Baytrail Z3735 and Z3740D support DDR3L-RS.
    There's still hope.

The next thing that needs confirming is whether this has an unlocked bootloader.

Hm. Indiegogo lists 1.3 GHz CPU. According to this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atom_(system_on_chip)

It's not even Haswell - it's Ivy Bridge. Why can't they go with 14 nm Broadwell? Too expensive?
