Thank you very much for the tip. But why should I have to tweak my device to have normal behaviour (in line with Nokia legacy, advertisements and previous behavior of Sailfish)?

I get a headache thinking about having to root / jailbreak Android for normal usage and that is one of the reasons I choose for Jolla.

This is giving Jolla phone a bad name and is at best not creating a nice showcase to lure Android users to move to Sailfish.
Probably those Android users enjoy less aggressive application killing on their 2GB - 3GB RAM power phones.

    Other observation:

Opened 12 applications, a dirty mix of native and Android ones and left them idle for about 4-5 hrs.

    No significant battery drain. OK!

Hmm I don't really love the update! Not that I am really unlucky, there a lot of improvements. Update worked fine most things work smooth.
But I have formated my SD-Card with BTRFS and shared space with android. That doesn't work anymore. Not that I haven't expected that. But I don't really understand, why there is still no official solution for that problem. I hope that they will have a solution when they release the tablet and sailfish OS 2.0

So all in all Update is nice, but I don't want to tinker after every update.

My first lipstick crash after update.

I had about 12 apps open for a while. All native except WhatsApp.

I think I closed one app and all of a sudden the open apps screen froze. App covers do not respond to touch, so I could not switch to apps or use swipe actions. I can scroll up and down, but screen does not clear the open apps covers. App covers shows through on the lock screen and icons.

I too have btrfs formatted microsd card on my Jolla and it is "shared" with aliendalvik user space.
Or used to be as it is nether working for me.
But I got unlucky after pre-Update 11 and device is rebooting frequently whenever the shared microSD is in place.
Even if I systemctl disabled the mounting script.
Same occurred with after Update 10 and I had to factory reset phone and format the microSD card.
I can't wait for Jolla tablet arrival so I can dumb phone media to it.
But the new fixes and improvements in this update are great and my phone is stable enough without microsd.
Nevermore btrfs mircoSD and extra tinkering.

I can't blame you. Using global settings for individual apps settings was a Bad Design Choice [tm].

I think the bigger issue is that third party Harbor apps can't use the global application settings menu, so most app develpers don't use it and users don't know where it is because no applications use it.
