I can't really believe this is still being misunderstood. This was not an investment, it was a donation.
Well, atleast Jolla realized it wasn't a fair donation and are issuing refunds(or fair donation) so it no longer relevant if it was donation, gift, investment or order

That Is prolly the best way for them to move forward. I'm sure they will get back most of the money in the end after the refund, and it will give some goodwill...or atleast less badwill.
