My window manager doesn't display anymore.
It's an n800.
Today I listened to the radio the whole day and upgraded some apps. To shut it down I opened xterm and typed halt (is this ok btw?)
When I power on, the logo NOKIA display, the progress bar goes until the end and then the screen stays like this. I can then hear the "nokia music" (which is somehow lagging) but not the nokia symbols (this michelangelo copy with two hands).
When I tap on the screen I can hear the beebeep but can only see the nokia blue word.
I can ping it, ssh to it so it's not locked up.
To make it more funny, I don't have root acess because I created a new user "dummy" and generated some public/private key but I didn't do it for user "user" .. yet.. so no sudo available for "dummy" so no root so no luck.. I can do ps though but don't know yet each process and what they do.
Any idea on what I could do? With the security I guess it will be hard to kill any process or look at any log (is there any bootlog in fact?).
Or is there a super hidden cheat mode?
I have the feeling this "nokia logo" app is just in front.
ps | grep match
/usr/bin/matchbox-window-manager ...
ps | grep X
/usr/bin/Xomap
I'd rather not reflash.
