Do you have a screen protector? I ordered a Brotect tempered glass screen protector, and since I fitted it I have this bug too. Don't know if it's a coincidence or whether the glass blocks some light to the sensor which pushes it over the low light threshold and triggers this bug. I never had the issue before, considering removing the protector again.

I use the SFOS port on a OnePlus X and I get the black screen of death on incoming calls sometimes. After disabling lpm in mce-tools, I haven't had it happen again. Don't know if this it at all relevant to FP2, but I mention if JIC.

Thanks for this, but I have just checked mcetools and LPM is already disabled

Forgot to say this issue is solved it was not SFOS bug I needed to disassembly the lcd back cover and clean the sensor. So yes could be same issue you got with the cover.

Still one issue left in my case... Camera not working :/ I will try reinstall android to see if camera is totally broken or something else :/

So, now that 2.1.0 early access release is out, does anyone know whether the sky will fall in if we update?

Edit: asked on IRC. Don't try to update yet, Mal said that lots of stuff will need to be recompiled but he can't do that yet, until Jolla releases the SDK files.

Oops!

I think I will start making a full backup using TWRP before major upgrades...

Mal created a new repo for Sailfish 2.1
http://repo.merproject.org/obs/nemo:...ishos_2.1.0.9/

You need to change /usr/share/ssu/features.d/adaptation-community.ini

adaptation-community = http://repo.merproject.org/obs/nemo:...fishos_2.1.0.9

After 2.1.x.x becomes official you will probably need to change it back to sailfish_latest.

Afterwards like usual:

ssu re 2.1.0.9
ssu ur
ssu lr (To check that repo adaptation-community is pointing to the right repo)
version --dup
zypper ref; zypper up (To show if some packages are missing or couldn't be installed because of dependency problems)
sync
reboot

I can confirm for me its running fine on my FP2

(IMEI, WIFI & BT i painted black for privacy reasons)

works for me too.

Camera app way faster shooter. Question now is how much of the new stuff in Qt 5.6 can actually be used are there backends for BT/NFC modules? My first guess is not since they are not installed.
