my dream wishes would be for that to happen, together with a decent update of kernel (at least the 4.4 LTS).

The even more far-out wish wouldbe for Jolla to send a team of Ninja assassins to steal the kernel&drivers update that a couple of phones with the exact same chipset as the Jolla 1 have received from Qualcomm, and enable at least a 4.4 Kitkat on the JP-1

But that'snot goingv to happen for obvious financial / resources reason.

They have a model that does this and called XA2 Ultra, unfortunately its too big and will not be supported by sfos x initially.

Do not forget about the family member called XA2 Plus which has separate slots/trays for SIM(s) and for SD too. Though it has a 6 inch display like the XA2 Ultra, it is more compact with a screen resolution ratio of 18:9.

XA2 Ultra is a no go for me but the XA2 Plus a maybe.

Installed SFX from fresh. Some of the android apps don't show app cover. Installs and works fine. What went wrong?

Before reset everyone had covers.

Yeah I have same opinion that Xperia xa2 plus would be the best phone from xa2 series. Anyways I probably stay with xperia x if Jolla bring us new kernel for it 4.4 or newer. I'm wondering where hte new installation tool for sailfish x will be available. Jolla blog gives understand that the new sailfish x install tool should be already available, if I remember correctly.. So how long we need to wait still, I'm curious about that question. Nobody knows..
