I generally have around 3-6 windows open when using it and 0 when I'm not unless I plan to return to it later. General open are,

Mail
Browser
IM
Etc,

However to me its much more important...

A handset does not require 2 antennas to monitor more than one cell, the handset maintains a list of the monitored cells in something known as the active set along with their power level, I am unsure...

I think that the exact word your looking for is Mobile Terminated Location Request. Its part of the standard, so not just Nokia or Nokias Phones

Did any one bother to check the comments on that you tube video, the poster of the clip, say's that the problem turned out to be the AT&T micro cell.
