I succeded with that and build-essention is up and running. Anyway when I try to compile using make, is get

-sh: make: Operation not permitted

I investigated on this a while ago and editing hosts file would be my choice as well.

The thing is, that afaik AEGIS created a hash of that file so chances are when you modify it, AEGIS will block...

Guess what: after 48 straight hours of 100% CPU load the smartsearch process just vanished from the list of the "top" command. I did not change anything at all! I'll have a close look on that though,...
