Hildon with portrait lock might be the culprit. I don't have it installed (and I don't feel like trying it out before it's included in CSSU) and the things you described don't happen to me.

It looks like I introduced some bug on one of the latest versions, indication that alarms are not active (but they are active).

Going to have a look at it now. Didn't receive reports about it...

You almost made it a little too easy, even for me, Nicolai :D

Replacing the ALARM_EVENT_BOOT flag with ALARM_EVENT_ACTDEAD did the trick.

The device now gets booted just before the alarm time...

Well, stopping tracker was a quick workaround for its stupidity (trying to index files while camera is recording) until i figure out the correct dbus commands for pause and continue... exactly what...

You disable the whole tracker-process, is it that, why we can get
that high bitrates?
It is a no-go, now it may take minutes until the video is shown
up in media...

Simply Awesome, i'm lost for words, never thought i would see the day my beloved N900 could play 720p (now even record!)

And the fact SR is now working 600Mhz+ makes KP49 incredible.
