Instagram recently have closed an access to its API by non-approved third-party applications.
It looks like it's an effect of that decision.

Yeah, I get a message saying that I'm not a sandboxed user of this app. Too bad.

Maybe Dirk Songuer, the author, still has the source files. Instago never went past beta phase anyway. Too pity as it was well written and visually appealing. There was a similar problem with QuickFlickr, but the maemo community managed to update the code to reflect the authorization changes.
