Re: Sailfish now on 1.0 (Jolla MWC announcement)
Wait what? Do you have a source for this? As far as I know Rovio just sent data unencrypted and NSA tapped that like they tap everything ;) Rovio's website was also hacked some time ago, but that...

Re: Flashlight - Shady Network Usage
If you wonder why people are so upset, just google Flashlight Malware. A flashlight software was found to spy users on Android not long ago. I think it wouldn't have been as bad if your software had...

The battery life should get better after a few reloading cycles. It's just some battery chemistry warming up :)

Re: HP WebOS devices
WebOS is sure to have at least a few years ahead of it, because it was just released big. Even if it is scrapped later, the situations have then changed and the board looks different from today. It's...

Me! I hadn't looked that much into it because I was waiting for the Meego to materialize. Now that I have it seems that webOS is not only nice looking, quite open and developer friendly, so I'm...

Re: HP WebOS devices
I love them! I had Palm devices many years before getting my N800. It's nice to see Palm back in the game with vengeance :) HP seems to have similar plans for webOS as Nokia & Intel have for Meego....

Re: Grooveshark (Spotify clone)
If it's not too much trouble, do try it out with N800 or N810 as well... it's an old device, but the big screen, wifi and cheap price would make it a great standalone grooveshark client for a stereo...

Re: what was your crapiest phone ever?
I had this too, and boy was it crap! The specs seemed OK, but the actual phone was terrible. I think that Siemens actually dropped out of the phone business soon after that.

Re: Using HDMI to charge the device
Thanks for the reply retsaw. Good point on the voltage source. I'm not 100% sure, but it might be that the current does in fact run only from the device (source) to screen (sink).

Re: Using HDMI to charge the device
