I had the same issue after upgrade OTA via fapman to PR1.3. Constant 20% cpu usage, battery dead in 6 hours. Backed it up, flashed it and reinstalled and everything via the backup and it now runs...

I used to get this all the time just in my pocket. I now use the modified hildon-desktop that allows desktop locking (here (http://my.arava.co.il/~matan/repo/repo.html)), and a queen beacon widget...
