Re: Nokia Booklet 3G
Much as I dislike Windows, I recall all the whinging on ITT about how people wanted to sync their calendars and mail from Outlook... Apple worked with MS to make that happen with Entourage, no way...

Re: Can phone users live on VOIP alone?
I get my home ADSL and my 3G data access through the same provider who also do VOIP.
On a recent trip away I put the data only 3G SIM I have into my phone[1] and hooked the N810 to that. I then...

Re: porting for beginners
I'm reading the stuff about the SDK but the firsl problem is that it's all debian based.
I don't use Debian, never have. Been using Redhat/Fedora since RH4.2....
I vaguely recall there was a...

porting for beginners
So... I really really want the RX-51. I'm definitely hanging out for it, because the SIM slot will (I hope) fit my current does-data-but-not-phone SIM and mean I don't have to swap SIMs all the...

Re: How To: Add your home town to Clock
What would be useful is a fiel that adds the GMT offset to the towns already in the file.
This is so if your place isn't listed, you can at least get a timezone that's the same as yours!
Not...

Anyone got any...

Re: internet call - Stop the LED
FOund it.
Down the very bottom right of the home screen a red curved arrow appears on the double box that is the "these apps are running" icon.
Click on that and you get the usual app list...

internet call - Stop the LED
So I'm using my ISP's VOIP service with the tablet's native "internet call" app, and all is well.
Except... if I miss a call, the LED flashes and I can't find anywhere to turn it off!
I had to...

As to the capcha, someone upthread had it, and I had the same problem.
Unless you nuke it in the control panel text input settings, the N800 will helpfully capitalise the first word you put into...

Also, is there...

Re: Will you buy a n900 with diablo right now?
I'd want a 3G sim card slot and an external SD card. I prefer the external kb but if they keep the stylus one (and have sensible ways to get special chars and control chars) then I'd manage.
If...

Re: Lost N810 Stylus
Alas the N810 stylus is a small cheap looking thing compared to the N800. The n800 one definitely won't fit the n810 slot.
I suspect people going to Boxwise and saying they'd buy a Styra...

I've contact Leib GmbH to see if I can order from them by phone or...

Re: Two things i wish i could buy for my n810
I had no problems buying a combined stylus/pen for my iPaq. The thing was smaller in diameter than the N810 stylus is. You got to the pen by removing a sleeve.
Nice, easy to use, long lasting,...
