Well they mosy likely tested the device the way a hardware facility would...with diagnostic tools.... not by using it. So most likely the mic functions at an electronic level - but if you don't have...

Sure. Yeah I know NM is like that and it works that way on my other Nokia's with no other e-mail clients.
But the N900 is running Modest and NM is a "plug-in". In my implementation I have 3 POP...

sweet works with a magnetic money clip. If you "just" touch screen goes back to sleep. If you move magnet screen stays on. Also does it on N97,but you have to be much closer to the switch.

Yes you do...now send 3 messages from 3 separate accounts - they all appear in every outbox, NM outbox and POP outboxes. Must be my Nokla N9000.

Then just use p. The field has "num lock" enabled, if you hit the symbol shift ket (blue arrow) you can enter alpha characters.
