I bought one and it arrived today. Looks like an original one and wirks perfect.

B U T ( !!!!!!) on the backside of the display the original metal frame and the clips are missing. No chance to fix...

Did not work for me. Whatsapp on the n8 of my dad only said "thanks for registering" and starts working with showing my chats (the simcard of my dad was still inside!)
