Re: I want to DELETE my ACCOUNT
This is all quite mean. Poking fun at somebody like that is childish at least and offensive. Think of it: would you like to be treated this way?
Not that having fun is forbidden, but it would be...

Agreed: we are nobody of course. That's also why I quoted the dialogue between Cain and God earlier.;) Who is Cain to tell God what to do about the world?

Re: Cleaning N900 FUD
I think the whining should end. Nokia got the message and when they are able to do so they will, hopefully soon, put factual information on the wiki page (and provide the link). Until then it is all...

Re: Cleaning N900 FUD
Folks, I couldn't resist this quote (from José Saramago's Caín, translated from the Portuguese) which illustrates to a certain extent the ongoing debate:
"Los designios de dios son inescrutables,...

It looks like exactly what Chris is doing here, but some people here are more prone to interfere with his efforts than to be helpful.

Re: User-friendliness of talk.maemo.org
Good point Jay.
I didn't know but later found out: I felt a little embarrassed...
In a way, this stumble was in the style of a Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy film.
I had a good laugh.

Re: User-friendliness of talk.maemo.org
Considering the general climate here there will be probably more friction in the coming weeks, when new potential or actual buyers will come in to seek (also basic) information and may not be used to...

Re: User-friendliness of talk.maemo.org
I believe it would be wise to create a 'How to' section and move all content for new users and also slightly more advance users like myself in that section (no gainroots though). The wiki as such is...

Re: a nice long French video of the N900
Thanks.
The video is about 40 minutes long, but in truth it is only 20 minutes long, as the same video is repeated in the file. Repetita juvant!
Pity they didn't have Internet connection: I am...

Re: Fremantle and "Fit Width to View"
I watched the video by JKK and was quite disappointed by the double tap zooming function in the browser. It doesn't reflow the text to fit the width of the screen. :-(

How many years did it take to "prove" that cigarettes are dangerous for the health? I am not implying that cell phones represent a hazard for health (I am not an expert on these matters), nor would I...

Think of how many men will decide to buy a bag (fashionable right now) if and when scientific research shows that mobile phone radiation can damage health... That would increase the baggy users...
