Had an awesome time with the n900 but it just isnt as good as android or htc. Only thing missing is a hardware keyboard on the desire hd :(

I had this problem too and asked for help in another thread with same problems. Unfortunatly there was no help so I just lived with the problem waiting for my new phone and then suddenly the problem...

Hmm surely anything the N900/Maemo can do the Desire HD/Android can do better or faster. Which to be honest i'm sure is what most people are after hence the talk of people waiting for the N9.

Any reasons for Android being boring? I've seen the videos, read the reviews, been told it will be getting the next update and have decided to buy it sim free. Will probably update to another phone...

have u tried changing ur charger, my n900 seems to charge fine with my brothers n97 charger but keeps disconnecting on my n900 charger.

tbh the update looks good from what i've seen from zehjotkhas youtube video of it however version 9 is is still perfect use and im glad its available for the n900 as it means more time for me to keep...

I found out after getting my n900 back from repair that channel4 videos wont work anymore, this being because of the update to flash 10. used to work fine before, darn flash

even if you fix the charger, any drop of the phone while plugged in and being charged is enough to damage the usb port. I cant believe how weak it is and this is a new device that nokia sent me...
