Also I feel that it may not be the best to use red fonts for to-do lists - a little bit too eye-catching. Maybe just white fonts as calendar items will be fine.

Thanks guys. yes, the above approach improved 1. For 2, I posted it in the linked post for help from sergey. I tried to delete the MFE account, and restart, then reset the MFE account, seems no help....
